Though these classes are available to you in your state, you do have the option to take your CIC courses in Oregon, Idaho, or Washington. Eligibility
To attend a CIC Institute, you must be a licensed agent, broker, solicitor, licensed CSR, or have two years of insurance experience or two years as an insurance faculty member at a college or university. All CIC institutes are continuing education approved. It is also important to note that all who attend PIA Western Alliance CIC classes have the option to test but you are not required to take a test at the end of a class. You must test, however, to receive your CIC designation.
